China fines 360 search engine firm for false advertising

<p>Chinese local authorities have imposed a $306,000 fine on the subsidiary company of search engine 360 for false advertising, local media reported. 360 Search, the search engine vertical of 360 Security Technology, was criticized on china's yearly annual consumer day TV show in March for an advertisement of medical services, which lacked mandatory qualifications. After the TV show, authorities conducted an immediate probe to collect relevant evidence.</p>
