Data Protection Bill will be revised soon by IT Ministry, says Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw
<p>IT ministry will shortly release a new version of the Data Protection Bill, as per Information and Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. Vaishnaw stated that the ministry will soon introduce a new Telecom Bill and that the cyber laws will undergo a comprehensive makeover. Vaishnaw introduced a resolution in the Lok Sabha to withdraw the bill in August. In the Parliament's upcoming winter session, the government is probably going to create more extensive legislation.</p>
