EU mandates data sharing for Amazon, Google and others: Reports

<p>The European Union has drafted rules to force tech giants including Amazon, Google to share the data they collect with small business rivals. Firms won’t be permitted to use the data collected for their own commercial activities, if they refrain from sharing it. EU would announce by the end of this year tough new rules under this new ‘Digital Services Act’ to increase social media firms’ responsibilities and liabilities for the content on their platforms.</p>
