Foxconn to increase operations in India to meet high iPhone demand

<p>This month saw Apple’s contract manufacturer, Foxconn start producing the iPhone 13 in India. The latest reports said that the factory in Sriperumbudur has received government approval to increase its existing workforce. This will result in more products being manufactured for the domestic market. An Economic Times report said that the government has approved denotification of 40 acres inside the Chennai plant which is operating in a special economic zone.</p>
