Google offers concessions to avoid antitrust lawsuits in the USA
<p>In order to avert a potential U.S. antitrust lawsuit charging that Google abused its power in the ad tech industry, the company has made concessions. Google has suggested splitting off portions of its ad-placing and auctioning business into a distinct Alphabet firm, which could be worth tens of billions of dollars. According to Alphabet, it was interacting with regulators to allay their worries. </p>
