Government likely to release with final version of IT Rules soon

<p>The government will soon release the amended IT Rules of 2021, which will be the final version of the proposed changes. It will also release legislation and regulations regarding the national data governance framework over the coming months and bring the new digital data protection bill into Parliament. Only after extensive public and stakeholder engagement, all new laws and regulations will be implemented. The current laws and regulations will be replaced by new ones.</p>
