Ink-Free Flying: India Ends Immigration Boarding Pass Stamps Starting September 1

Starting September 1, the Bureau of Immigration will stop stamping boarding passes for international passengers departing India. Aimed at streamlining travel and speeding up clearance, the new process fully supports e-boarding passes on smartphones alongside printed copies. Passengers will no longer face delays or complications caused by smudged or unclear physical stamps at immigration counters.
