Instagram Should Have Rejected Police Pressure To Ban Rap Song, Says Oversight Board

<p>The drill music rap genre, which some politicians and officials have linked to gang violence, should not have been removed from the platform, according to the Meta Oversight Board. According to the board, Instagram erred in removing a UK drill song at the request of the Metropolitan Police of London. The board is also pressuring Meta to give future customers more information about its interactions with law enforcement and to give works' artistic context more weight. </p>
