Investigate Unregulated Loan Apps with Domain Experts: Center to States/UTs

<p>The home ministry has asked the relevant law enforcement agencies to engage subject matter experts in the investigation of complaints after drawing "urgent attention" of all states and Union territories towards illegal and unregulated digital lending applications, mostly controlled by Chinese entities. According to the Home Ministry, these applications prey on weak and low-income individuals and utilise the borrower's private information.</p>
