Karnataka invites Intel to set up chip-making units in the state

<p>Karnataka govt proposed Intel India to set up chip-making units in the state. Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister C N Ashwath Narayan, in a video conference with Intel India head Nivruti Rai and other top executives, referred to the sea connectivity on the ports of Mangalore and Belagavi for the export of Intel chips made in Karnataka. Narayan ensured govt’s support to ease the unit setup.</p>
