OpenAI is launching ChatGPT Ads in India, targeting adult users on its Free and ₹399/month Go tiers to boost revenue ahead of its planned IPO. Sponsored results will appear at the bottom of responses, clearly separated from chat answers. Higher-tier subscribers (Plus, Pro, Enterprise) remain ad-free, and OpenAI promises advertisers will only receive aggregated metrics without accessing user chat history or personal data.
