A viral social media post claims a 20-year-old Chinese student built an AI-based traffic speed detection and license plate tracking system in just nine days. Using the AI assistant Claude and an old camera, the project reportedly cost very little to develop. The system was allegedly sold to a local government district for $317,000, sparking internet debates over its authenticity and accuracy.
