The U.S. Pentagon has expanded its Section 1260H national security blacklist to include China’s most prominent commercial giants, including Alibaba, Baidu, and EV leader BYD. Washington alleges these firms contribute to Beijing's "military-civil fusion" strategy by sharing civilian tech innovations with the armed forces. While not an outright commercial ban, the designation blocks them from securing U.S. defense contracts and triggers significant financial and reputational risks.
