Wipro to promote over 5,000 employees this year
<p>IT giant Wipro has decided to promote over 5,000 employees with 5-8 years of experience in the coming December to fight attrition. The company’s attrition rate had fallen to 17% in the September quarter, but they managed it with several interventions like mid-course salary hikes, bonus, and promotions. Earlier, Wipro paid a retention bonus of ₹1 lakh to freshers in the June quarter.</p>
