Accenture Plans 12,000-Job Campus in Andhra Pradesh Amid H-1B Visa Fee Hike

Accenture is proposing a new campus in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, set to create about 12,000 new jobs as part of its expansion in India. The company has requested roughly 10 acres of land under a state policy offering highly subsidised leases (₹0.99 per acre) for large employers. The move comes in response to recent policy shifts in the U.S., including a $100,000 annual H-1B visa fee, which is pushing IT firms to invest more domestically.
