Anil Chakravarthy to Succeed Shantanu Narayen as Adobe CEO From December 1

Adobe has appointed Anil Chakravarthy as its next CEO, effective December 1, 2026, succeeding longtime chief Shantanu Narayen. Narayen, who has led Adobe since 2007, will become executive chair. Chakravarthy, who joined Adobe in 2020 and currently leads its marketing and analytics software business, will steer the company as it faces growing competition from AI-powered creative tools.
