Byju's To Lay Off Up To 2,500 Employees To Cut Costs

<p>In order to improve its finances and reach profitability by the end of the current financial year, Indian ed-tech giant Byju revealed that it has trimmed its marketing budget and dismissed 5% of its personnel, or around 2,500 posts, across different divisions. The decision was made in the midst of the ongoing global economic crisis, which pushed many firms, to delay their intentions to register for an initial public offering (IPO).</p>
