Elon Musk Accused of Racism After Mamdani Name Post

Elon Musk faced significant backlash and accusations of racism after intentionally misspelling the last name of Indian-origin politician Zohran Mamdani on X. Musk made the comment while endorsing Mamdani's rival, Andrew Cuomo, in the New York City mayoral race. Critics labeled his post, which referred to the candidate as "Mumdumi or whatever his name is," as a "childish, racist behavior" targeting the immigrant politician.
