End of an Era at AWS: 19-Year Tech Veteran Dave Brown Steps Down

Dave Brown, a senior vice president and one of AWS's longest-serving executives, is leaving the company after nearly 19 years to pursue a new external role. Brown, who helped build the core EC2 service and led compute and machine learning divisions, will be replaced by Amazon e-commerce veteran Dave Treadwell at the end of July.
