Expats Make Up Over 78% of GCC Workforce, Spotlighting Localization Gap
As of Q2 2024, expatriates accounted for more than 78% of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) workforce, totaling roughly 19 million of 24.6 million workers—a stark indicator of the region’s heavy dependence on foreign talent.
