Fired for Working from Home: Executive Fails Own 5-Day Office Rule

William Nieporte, co-founder of the $8 billion firm Bramshill Investments, was fired for "willfully" failing to report to the office. Ironically, Nieporte was ousted under a strict five-day in-office mandate that he had previously signed off on for his employees. He has now launched a $30 million federal lawsuit, claiming partners used the policy as a pretext to seize his 12% equity stake.
