Liz Truss elected as Britain's new Prime Minister
<p>Liz Truss was chosen as the new Prime Minister of Britain, defeating Rishi Sunak. She has been chosen to lead the ruling Conservative Party as well. At a time when the nation is dealing with a crisis in the cost of living, industrial discontent, and recession concerns, Truss will succeed Boris Johnson as prime minister. Truss is now the fourth prime minister for the Conservatives since the 2015 election.</p>
