Ola Cabs lays off 10% of engineering workforce employees

<p>After dismissing reports that it would relieve 500 employees, ridesharing company Ola Cabs laid off 200 employees from its engineering division in a restructuring exercise to realise its ambitions in the electric vehicle sphere. The multinational company said it was doing so for “centralising operations and is undertaking a restructuring exercise to minimise redundancy and build a strong lateral structure that strengthens relevant roles and functions”<br />
