"Old Fox" Professor Says AI Cheaters Are Effortless to Catch

Johns Hopkins economics professor Steve Hanke, who has taught for nearly 60 years, has "no problem" with students using AI because chatbot-generated work is blatantly easy to spot. Pointing to students' weaker writing skills, Hanke and admissions expert Drusilla Blackman note that AI outputs quickly clash with a student's typical standard of work, making undetected cheating nearly impossible for vigilant educators.
