OpenAI Acquires Statsig for $1.1B, Appoints Indian-Origin Vijaye Raji as CTO

In one of its largest acquisitions to date, OpenAI is acquiring product-testing startup Statsig in an all-stock deal valued at $1.1 billion, based on its $300 billion valuation. As part of the transition, Statsig founder Vijaye Raji has been appointed as Chief Technology Officer of Applications, overseeing product engineering for high-impact tools like ChatGPT and Codex.
