Oracle begins laying off employees in the US: Report

<p>Oracle has started laying off workers in the US. The company revealed in July that Oracle was considering laying off thousands of employees throughout the globe after aiming to save up to $1B in costs. As of May 31, there were around 143,000 full-time employees working at the company. In the upcoming weeks and months, Oracle employees at its offices in the San Francisco Bay Area, Canada, India, and portions of Europe will be laid off.</p>
