Over 250 Bira 91 Employees Demand Leadership Change, Oust Founder
More than 250 employees of B9 Beverages, maker of Bira 91, have petitioned the board and major investors (including Kirin Holdings and Peak XV) to remove founder Ankur Jain from management, citing governance failures, delayed salaries, and financial mismanagement. Production reportedly halted in July. The petition also addresses overdue vendor payments and non-transparency.
