Pentagon Launches 120-Day Project With Elon Musk and Palmer Luckey to Shape Future Military Technology

U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has launched Project Meridian, a 120-day study examining how advances in technology could reshape future warfare. Elon Musk, Anduril founder Palmer Luckey and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich will co-lead the project alongside experts from academia and policy. The group will recommend technologies and solutions for development, testing and deployment. The Pentagon also announced a new Autonomous Warfare Command focused on autonomous systems and drones.
