AI researcher Rishabh Agrawal has clarified viral reports claiming he walked away from a $1 million offer from Meta. The IIT Bombay alumnus and former Google scientist revealed that Meta's compensation package was actually "an order of magnitude higher" than reported. Agrawal declined the massive corporate payout after five months at the company to co-found Periodic Labs, an AI scientist startup backed by Jeff Bezos and Nvidia.
