Twitter in process of identifying an independent board director

<p>Microblogging site Twitter said that it was the process of selecting a new independent director for its board. The internet firm went on and said that board member Jesse Cohn, who is also hedge fund Elliott Management’s head of U.S. equity activism, will be nominated for re-election as a Class II director.</p>
