US Healthcare Giant CommonSpirit Hit By Possible Ransomware

<p>One of the biggest nonprofit health systems in the United States, CommonSpirit Health, claims that a security issue that affected several institutions led to the shutdown of some of its IT systems. More than 21 million individuals get healthcare services from the US health system, which has a staff of over 150,000 people. While the nature of the incident is yet to be disclosed, there are hints that link it to a possible ransomware attack that would explain its broad impact.</p>
