Verizon Appoints Former PayPal CEO Dan Schulman as New Chief Executive
Verizon Communications has appointed Dan Schulman, former CEO of PayPal, as its new chief executive officer, succeeding Hans Vestberg. Schulman, who served on Verizon's board for seven years, aims to enhance customer experience and drive financial results. Vestberg, who led the company since 2018, will remain as a special adviser until October 2026. The leadership change comes amid slowing growth in the wireless market and increased competition.
