We require more contemporary banks for us to create sophisticated economy, says Sachin Bansal

<p>Sachin Bansal is hoping for an on-tap banking licence from the Reserve Bank of India because he thinks the country needs more modern banks to be able to build a complex economic structure. Bansal stated that he thinks the majority of officials and regulators in India today would concur that there is a need for modern banks. Bansal's comments follow the RBI's denial of Navi's banking licencing application.</p>
