Zerodha Built on Rs 10 Lakh Bootstrap, Says Nithin Kamath — IPO Not in Plans

Zerodha co-founder Nithin Kamath revealed that the company was built with just ₹10 lakh in initial investment—₹2.5 lakh for website, ₹5 lakh on office interiors, and the rest for miscellaneous expenses. The firm remains bootstrapped with no external funding and has no plans for an IPO, allowing it to focus on customer-centric values like “no spam, no tracking” rather than chasing investor or public market demands.
