Zoom appoints Indian-origin V Sankarlingam as president of engineering and product

<p>Indian-origin Velchamy Sankarlingam has been appointed as the President of Engineering and Product at Zoom Video Communications. Sankarlingam was recently serving as Senior Vice President, Cloud Services Development and Operations at VMWare, before moving to Zoom. He will directly report to CEO Eric S. Yuan and will oversee the company’s engineering, product, and dev ops teams. His appointment will be effective from June 12.</p>
