1Password Introduces Secure Agentic Autofill to Safeguard AI Browser Agent Logins

1Password has launched Secure Agentic Autofill to address security concerns arising from AI browser agents used by tools like Claude, Gemini, and ChatGPT. These agents can perform tasks such as web browsing and booking tickets, but may inadvertently retain login credentials, posing data breach risks. With this new feature, when an AI agent requires login credentials, it notifies 1Password, which then requests user approval through a secure, end-to-end encrypted channel.
