Bessemer Venture Partners Appoints Pankaj Mitra to Lead AI and Enterprise Tech Investments in India

Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP) has appointed Pankaj Mitra as a partner in its India team, focusing on investments in artificial intelligence (AI), enterprise technology, and cybersecurity. This move follows the closure of BVP's $350 million India-focused fund in March 2025, aimed at backing early-stage startups across various sectors. Mitra, an IIT Kharagpur alumnus, brings experience from Cisco and Infosys, where he led investments and M&A activities.
