Blockchain research firm say NFTs worth $100 M stolen in past year

<p>Blockchain research firm Elliptici said that approximately $100 M worth of NFTs were stolen in the year leading up to July. NFTs are a rapidly developing type of digital asset that stand in for digital files like text, video, or image files. As wealthy cryptocurrency speculators invested billions of dollars on the assets, the market soared in 2021. However, NFT pricing and sales volumes have fallen since the collapse in cryptocurrency prices in May and June of this year.</p>
