Britain Likely To Fine Tik Tok For 29M USD Due To Failure In Protection Of Children's Privacy

<p>TikTok, according to the report, failed to give its users the necessary information in a clear manner and may have processed data of children under the age of 13 without getting the needed parental authorization. TikTok and TikTok Information Technologies UK Ltd have received a "notice of intent" from the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the agency announced in a statement. The country could fine TikTok $28.91M following the investigation.</p>
