China Blocks Internet Anticensorship Tools

<p>According to the censorship monitoring organization Great Firewall (GFW) Report, users of a number of well-known censorship circumvention tools are reporting that their servers are being blocked in what appears to be an escalation of China's crackdown on such tools ahead of this month's 20th party congress. More than 100 users have claimed that the servers hosting the tools, which are engineered to not be detected by China's Great Firewall, have been banned.</p>
