CircleCi Data Breach: Software Company Says Hackers Stole Encryption Keys and Customers’ Secrets

<p>CircleCi confirmed that some customers' data was stolen in a data breach last month saying its antivirus software failed to detect the token-stealing malware on an employee's laptop. Cybercriminals were able to impersonate the employee and gain access to production systems. Intruders gained access to CircleCi's production systems from December 16 to January 4. An employee generated access tokens that allowed the intruders access to a subset of databases and stores. </p> <quillbot-extension-portal></quillbot-extension-portal>
