Clubhouse reviewing data protection practices after report points leak
<p>The Stanford Internet Observatory claimed that Chinese based Agora supplied back-end infrastructure to Clubhouse and it may have access to users' audio, possibly providing access to the Chinese govt. The app, in response, said that it was reviewing its data protection practices and accepted that some people in China had found a workaround to download the app which meant the conversations they were a part of could be transmitted via Chinese servers.</p>
