Discord Data Breach Exposes User Info, Including Scanned IDs
Discord reported a data breach involving a third-party customer service provider. The unauthorized access compromised user data from individuals who had contacted Discord's Customer Support or Trust & Safety teams. Exposed information includes names, usernames, email addresses, the last four digits of credit card numbers, and, in some cases, scanned government-issued ID images from users who appealed age determinations.
