EU will deploy a cyber response team to assist Ukraine

<p>The EU is planning to launch a cyber response team to assist Ukraine in the face of Russian threats. Lithuania's Deputy Defense Minister Margiris Abukevicius tweeted that they are "creating Cyber Rapid Response Team to assist Ukrainian institutions in dealing with rising cyber threats." The move follows Moscow's recognition of two breakaway regions in Ukraine, which sparked outrage in the West and raised worries of a Russian invasion of its post-Soviet neighbour.</p>
