Hacker Turns Tables on Ghaziabad Tech-Support Scammer

A netizen known on X as NanoBaiter outsmarted a Ghaziabad-based tech-support scammer posing as “AVG support” by hacking into his laptop during a fake assistance call. Through the scammer’s webcam, NanoBaiter captured his panicked reaction and retrieved his Aadhaar, PAN, and passport data. The hacker also matched his identity and location, then tagged Ghaziabad police to trigger an investigation.
