India Migrates 12 Lakh Govt Email IDs to Zoho Platform in Push for Data Sovereignty
The Indian central government has migrated email accounts of 12 lakh employees, including those in the PMO, from a National Informatics Centre–based system to Zoho’s platform. The transition, conducted over the past year, follows a ransomware attack on AIIMS and reflects a drive toward data sovereignty and reduced dependence on global tech firms.
