Karnataka extends scope of proposed cybersecurity policy, draft to be ready in 3 months

<p>Karnataka will have to wait a bit longer for its cybersecurity strategy. This is because the government has opted to expand its remit by addressing issues handled by the home and e-governance departments as well. According to IT/BT minister CN Ashwath Narayan, the proposed policy will support entrepreneurs in developing technology to strengthen cybersecurity and stop financial fraud involving cell phones. </p>
