Kashmir university claims data has not been modified despite reports of data breach

<p>Officials at Kashmir University claimed that the university's database was "unmodified" and that the suspected breach was being investigated amid reports that its student database had been discovered on the "dark web." An unaffiliated news source said that "ViktorLusting" had listed Kashmir University's data base for sale on a hacking site for $250. According to a media source, the threat actor supplied a database index of the material he has access to.</p>
