Many firms fall victim to at least one bait attack in September

<p>A report released by Barracuda networks revealed 35% of 10,500 firms reported at least one bait or reconnaissance attack in September. These attacks did not involve any malicious attachments or phishing links which makes them difficult to detect. These cybercriminals collect information about the victim through reconnaissance which makes their attacks more effective. The report suggested using AI is effective to identify these attacks and block them.<br />
