McAfee sells enterprise business to Symphony Technology for $4 bn

<p>McAfee will sell its enterprise business to a consortium led by Symphony Technology Group for $4 bn in cash. The transaction, which is expected to close by end of 2021, will allow McAfee to focus on consumer security business and strategies to be a leader in the space. The sale will allow McAfee to reduce debt by $1bn. McAfee is likely to retain the name while the enterprise business will be rechristened in the coming weeks.</p>
